We currently have a small business that uses an excel based software package that needs updating and fine tuning to our requirements. The software tracks payments, interest due, and provides daily /monthly summary statements on monies outstanding , interest earned and charges payable.
We are looking for someone to update the software for us, to incorporate a few new features and become a bit more user friendly.

TidyClub is looking for a Junior Rails Developer
Here's some things you may work on:

• Upgrade our current landing page using bootstrap framework, incorporating club search functionality and some other bits.
• Roll out bootstrap, commerce and other framework to our backend administration software.
• Recreate bugs and unexpected behavior, then fix the problem. Communicate the problem and solution back to our customers.
• Refactor code to use new technologies and techniques. For example, our report generation and export just went from a tmpfile on disk to streaming output from our Rails daemons.
• Collaborate with our interaction designers and front-end devs on a better first-time user experience, then make it happen.
• Explore exciting possibilities for 3rd party APIs ‐ everything from financial tools to support dashboards to Google app integrations.
Skills & Requirements
You should have a strong foundation in computer science, and some experience with Ruby & Rails. You are smart, curious, and eager to learn. We value honesty, responsibility, and humility, and we hope you do too.
You'll be joining a team of 2 awesome developers, working on a up and coming web application that powers some very cool clubs and associations including Curtin University Clubs!
About Harvest
TidyClub is attempting to solve the traditional angst, headaches and general time-wasting that is club administration, we want to make it fun and easy and interesting. We want volunteers to jump at a chance to run a club. The problem could be seen as rather boring and painful ‐ but through applying our expertise in design & technology we're making club adminsitration enjoyable and effortless.
The next 6 months is going to be very exciting for us as we continue to build the foundations and grow our customer base.

Part Time Programmer Required
A vacancy exists for a part time programmer to work on a software development project. The project initially involves taking current technical ideas and developing proof of concept software.
